I've got one for ya. It may have been discussed a long ass time ago, but to be honest, it'd take forever to sift through all the bullshit. So maybe someone knows off-hand. You've all seen the Germany video. When they play Ring of Fire, Mike says he'd like to make a special thanks to the "Kelly family, for making us so goddamned angry, that I can write songs." Anyone know what the Kelly Family did to piss them off? Or who they are? Either way, it was a damn nice put down, disguised ever so slightly.

The Kelly family is a huge freaky family from the US that has been living in Germany for ages...they played old and original songs on the streets, playing 300-400 "shows" a year...and then...BOOM...they had one of their self-released records in the charts selling out stadiums! I must say that it's not my type of music and the family has a reputation for being a bit...smelly...but...I respect them for their endurance and I could think of better bands who piss me off! ;-)
They played for a handful of folks for little money on the streets and stayed humble when they made it big...well...they've traded their trailer for a run-down castle but other than that...

hey, i haven't seen the germany video. where can i find that? i'll check youtube in a second, but is that a bootleg dvd that's been passed around on ebay? or is it a legit dvd/ vhs?

hotrodder82 - That "Live in Germany" dvd IS on ebay right now. You should buy it because youtube leaves out a lot. Like the naughty intro to "Ring of Fire"

I bought my "Live in Germany" dvd on e-bay for 10 bucks back in June.

Lostheart, just a curious dumb question, the seach thing is cool, but to re-post it here did you have to re-type the whole thing? Or is there a way to move it into this little box?
Because I know where wolfpits' original post about the self-fellatio thing is.haha

Okay, this old schooler who's never copied and pasted in her life [img]redface.gif[/img] (by the way thanks again) and you guys have no idea how hard it was to figure out the avatar (which I still don't have right) and posting the meet and greet pictures (well, except deadliner "cause I kept bugging him). Anyway I have another question that even a computer guy couldn't answer. On this "Live in Germany" dvd, is it possible to rip just the music and not the video off this dvd so I can burn a cd and also put the live songs on the internet. Someone has already done it somehow, because a guy told me he got them off soulsearch. My daughter says on movie maker when they make anime music videos they can mute the audio so they can insert the music, but the other way around, I don't know? The only way I can think of doing it is to use a digital recorder like a cell phone while watching the video, then put it on the computer?? You can e-mail me if you don't want to post the info here.
